Kelso Civic Week 2002, Scotland Kelso Laddie 2002 Scott McKenzieScott is the only son of Ian and Nancy McKenzie and along with older sister Jan, the family stay at Deans Court. Scott was born in 1981 at Kelso Cottage Hospital and was educated at Broomlands Primary School and Kelso High School. On leaving school he was employed as an apprentice joiner with the local building firm of M&J Ballantyne and has since completed his apprenticeship and is now a qualified joiner. Scott has been an active follower of Civic Week in previous years but he is looking forward to participating in the equestrian events for the first time. The participating Colour Bussers for Civic Week 2002 have also been announced. They are, from Broomlands Primary School, Joanna Bates and Sarah Watson. From Edenside Primary School, Rachael Waters and Fiona Hunter have been elected.
