Kelso Library Centenary Garden is growing

Charity Begins at Home have very kindly donated £500 to buy plants and planters for the Kelso Library Centenary Garden. Thank you very much to them for the generous donation and to one of our Friends of Kelso Library members for their expertise in selecting and arranging them for us. The garden is looking really good. Kelso Library Centenary Garden Opening - April 21st 2007

Opening Kelso Library Centenary Garden Saturday 21st April saw the culmination of a lot of hard work with the opening of Kelso Library Centenary Garden. Kelso Library Centenary Garden stone

It was considered that a carved stone inserted in the garden would acknowledge the fact that the garden was created as a lasting reminder of Kelso Library Centenary on 16th May 2006 for future generations of Kelsonians. Friends of Kelso Library receive Awards for All grant of £10,000

Work on creating a new outdoor reading and storytelling area at Kelso Library will start shortly thanks to a grant of £10,000 from the Awards for All (Scotland) scheme.
