The Border Burnings

Last Thursday night Friends of Kelso Library had a capacity audience for Mary W Craig.
Historian and researcher Mary gave us to a lecture on the subject of her new book
“The Border Burnings” The story of the witchcraft trials of the Scottish Borders, in which, unfortunately Kelso played a major part. Mary’s enthusiastic presentation and great knowledge of her subject was a treat and left us with a lot to think about.

The next Friends of Kelso Library event is Thursday 19th February, Kelso Library 7.30 when Alistair McCleery form the Scottish Centre for the Book will talk about People behind the Pages – all welcome.
