The books we had hoped to get from the Library were unavailable but Ruth says she will keep trying. We had a good turnout on Tuesday last. Ten people in all came along. Three were visitors from U3A...one of them from Coldstream who had come along to see what we had to offer in comparison to Coldstream. Hope they will return. Janet had sent word that she had been reading "The Woman in White" by Wilkie Collins and had found it very difficult to "get into" but she had persevered and by the end she was enjoying it. I had been invited to attend a special U3A meeting of readers groups in Edinburgh. There were representatives from about 18 other groups from various parts of Scotland, all with plenty to say.
