Five-a-side Football at Woodside Park at 1pm
Sunday 17th July
Family Day at Poynder Park from 1pm to 4pm Sponsored Bike Race leaves from Springwood Caravan Park entrance. Registration at Abbey Row Centre before 12 noon Open quoiting competition at Cobby at 1.30pm Laying of Wreath at War Memorial at 6pm followed by United Church Service in Kelso Old Parish Church at 6.30pm.
Monday 18th July
Children’s Pet Show opened at 2pm by the Kelso Laddie in the Tait Hall Art Exhibition opens at 3pm in Bowmont Hall. Ride to Roxburgh, Heiton and Springwood leaves The Knowes at 5pm Gymkhana Show Jumping at Springwood at 7pm Approx. Dance at Heiton commencing at 10pm
Tuesday 19th July
Art Exhibition in Bowmont Hall Active Primaries 'Multi Fun' Sports,for P1-P7 pupils, at Kelso High School Games Hall 10am to 12noon. Ride to Stichill, Hume and Ednam (Kids Scramble)leaving from Springwood Car Park at 4pm Final of men’s and women’s darts competitions in the Royal British Legion at 8pm Riders Social at Royal British Legion - 10.30pm till Late
Wednesday 20th July
Children’s sports in Poynder Park at 1.30pm Baby Show at Kelso Rugby Club at 2pm prompt Installation of the Kelso Laddie and Colour Bussing in The Square at 7pm Torchlight procession leaves Mayfield at 11pm (torches on sale in The Knowes from 10.30pm) Fireworks Display at The Cobby starting at 11.15pm Art Exhibition in Bowmont Hall
Thursday 21st July
Children’s Fancy Dress in the Tait Hall 1.30pm – 4pm Ride to Floors Castle leaving The Knowes at 4.30pm. Judging of the Horses. Cycle Fun Run to Floors Castle leaving The Knowes at 4.30pm Grand Civic Week Ball in Springwood Hall, Springwood Park from 8.30pm to 4.30am.. Final of Pool Competition in Red Lion at 8pm Art Exhibition in Bowmont Hall
Friday 22nd July
Grand Swimming Gala, Kelso Swimming Pool at 1.30pm Whipman’s Ride leaving The Knowes at 5.40pm. Horse Racing (Friarshaugh) at 7pm Art Exhibition in Bowmont Hall
Saturday 23rd July
Kelso Laddie and his supporters will leave Kelso Racecourse at 8am, and The Square at 8.30am to carry out the official ride to Yetholm, returning to The Square at 4.30pm Entertainment in Kelso Square Fancy Dress Procession leaves Tait Hall at 7pm Presentation of cups and return of Kelso Standard at conclusion of the procession in The Square Art Exhibition in Bowmont Hall Street Entertainment in The Square after cup presentation until 11.30pm.
