4 Border Abbeys U3A - Scottish Country Dancing

The aim of the group is to enjoy social country dancing for fun, fitness and friendship.
The technique of steps and the learning of formations are undertaken in an enjoyable, light-hearted manner.
The group meets every Thursday from 2:00 to 3:30pm, finishing with a sociable tea/coffee and chat in the Youth Hall, Yetholm.
The classes run from the last Thursday in September to mid December and after a seasonal break they continue from early January to the end of March.
It is an open class satisfying mixed levels of dancing. New dancers are always welcome. The average attendance is 20+ members out of a roll of 30+.
Please note that the date of the 1st meeting in the new session has been delayed until Thursday 2nd October
Please also note the change of venue for this meeting and the meeting on 9th October. These 2 meetings will be held in the Wauchop Hall. Thereafter the meetings will return to the Youth Hall
