Abbey Soft Play is situated adjacent to the Knowes car park in Kelso and has easy access into the building. It is a self-funded project set up by parents to offer a variety of fun activities for children of all abilities less than eight years old.

Parents can enjoy a tea of coffee while the children burn off some of their energy in a stimulating and safe environment. A warm welcome from our trained Staff and Volunteers will ensure your time spent within Abbey Soft Play is enjoyable.

We have recently started a Creche in the mornings for our members aged between 1-5 years old, which is proving to be very popular with both parents and children.

Abbey Soft Play is run on a membership basis to help costs for families using it regularly, there will be a small charge for usage over and above to help fund the Charity's costs.

Membership is available to all children under 8 years old and is free to children with Special Needs and Charitable Organisations. There is a special low rate for Child Minders. Visitors and Non Members are very welcome within sessions for General Public use.

Opening Times

Private hire of the building can be booked for times other than above for Birthday Parties, Therapy Sessions, etc. Members only.

Session spaces are limited to max. 8 children. To avoid disappointment please book in advance.
