lst Kelso Girl's Brigade

We are a fun-loving, Christian, uniformed company who meet on Tuesday nights. The Explorer group (Primaries 1-3) and Juniors (Primaries 4 and 5) meet from 6.00 pm until 7.30 pm. The seniors (Primaries 6 and 7) and Brigadiers (S1-S6) meet from 7.00 pm until 8.30 pm. We meet in Kelso North Parish Church Hall.

Our badge work consists of story telling, art and craft, baking, games and music. We often go on outings to the local swimming pool and skittle alley. Our trips further afield have included Edinburgh Zoo and this year we visited Beamish Outdoor Museum.

We hold an annual sleepover in the church hall, which include karaoke, supper and surprisingly, some sleep. As you can imagine, this is something all the girls thoroughly enjoy.

We always welcome new girls and there is no waiting list at the moment. We have approximately 23 girls in the company.
