Abbey Quilters is a small, friendly Patchwork and Quilting group which meet at 7:30 pm in the Abbey Row Centre, Kelso on the second Tuesday of every month between September and June. The membership for the year is £12 or £2 per meeting.

The meetings are very informal and usually take the form of a group member or guest speaker demonstrating different techniques, then the members have an opportunity to try out their newly learnt skills.

The group hold an exhibition every second year on the Friday and Saturday at the end of Civic Week. This is an opportunity for members to display their work and for the public to be inspired by all the wonderful quilts, wallhangings, cushions, etc on display. A group quilt made by the members is raffled at the exhibition with all the proceeds being donated to a local charity.

So - whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced quilter, come along to our meetings where you will be assured of a warm welcome and become addicted to Patchwork & Quilting.
